Westminster Shores is actively planning and preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Idalia. Our community is located in a Level A flood zone and must follow the evacuation order issued from the Pinellas County Emergency Management office. We are evacuating all Assisted Living residents who are remaining with us during the storm period as of 8:30 a.m. this morning, Tuesday, August 29. We want to assure you that we have a detailed evacuation plan in place. We are relocating our Assisted Living residents to Westminster Winter Park, in Winter Park. Our trained team members will ensure that your loved ones receive the same level of care and attention throughout the evacuation process.
To facilitate communication, we encourage you to contact us via email or cell phone for any inquiries or updates moving forward. Please note that residents who are going with a family member may NOT return to campus until we have sent an all clear and have been cleared from the Florida Agency of Health Care Administration to return to campus.
Westminster Shores will be completely closed and no team members will be on campus once we have evacuated. The safety and comfort of our residents are of paramount importance, and we are committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure their well-being.
